Edit the config file and update the Auth Name and password which you will use when setting up the extension later. Use the MAC address of the phone which is located on the bottom of the phone. Using the web GUI create a new phone configuration file. Doing a netstat -a on the asterisk box will show (udp 0 0 *:tftp) to make sure that the tftp daemon is listening. Once this is done the Alternate TFTP server will have to be keyed in pointing to the asterisk box. The phone will need to be reset to factory defaults and set to pick up an IP address from the dhcp server.
